So, tonight I finally conjured up the courage (with some help from liquid courage) to sing at open mic night at rendezvous, which is a bar here. I only got to play two songs, I wanted to play three. I played family tree by ben kweller and curse of a drunk by the takers. it was pretty rockin'. I sounded good. It was weird hearing myself on a mic for the first time, but it was a good experience. I really want to invite my parents and there friends to it next week, they will be in town, and to hear me sing. It may be fun, i don't know (this might be my old friend Ethanol speaking) but, I really think it would be fun. I want to sing more things next time. More original songs, since I
do have a few. Anyway, I knew Ethan said he would want to see me sing, so this is for Ethan: If you want to, you can sleep at my house next Wednesday, I would love to have you. It would be great.
In other news, I am reading a book called "On The Road" by Jack Kerouac. It is a great book. It really makes me wish I could hitch across the nation. But I know that that is not my heart's desire. I have someone that I want to love forever. I have someone I want to live with forever. I have someone I want to see everyday. I have someone I want to spend every last second with. And be with all the time. And sing with. And laugh with.
