Renovations

As he drove pass the school, they were driving their bulldozers, wrecking the rusted swing sets and monkey bars that had given so many children happiness for so many years. “You’re all killers of dreams!” he yelled as he drove on. He cried for those who were too young to have swung on the same swing-sets and climbed the same monkey bars he had as a child. He couldn’t see the boxes filled with the unassembled pieces of the new, larger, more colorful jungle gym.


I live across the street from an elementary school and today they were doing renovations to the recess area. I thought about yelling "You are all killers of dreams!" at the construction workers because I thought it would be probably about the funniest thing to here while you are tearing down a swing set, but I held my tongue. Anyway, this event is the spark that inspired this piece of microfiction.

Good News

I can now finally solve the rubick's cube. I did it today in 3 minutes and 19 seconds. I made myself learn this weekend so I can impress Rachel's family on Thanksgiving.

That's Mr. Ambassador!!!!

The final class you is Portfolio. I will be taking that in Fall 2010. The class right before that is Graphic Design 3 aka. Ad Design. I am in that next semester. In order to help the Portfolio students prepare for the Portfolio Review and show the faculty appoints Ad Design students to be ambassadors to the portfolio class. The ambassadors are the best of the best in their class. They basically make everything for the Review and I am not sure what else but they do a lot of stuff and it is an honor to be an ambassador. Most of my friends in the GD program are in Ad Design now, I was supposed to be but was held back, but many of them (Hiller, Liza, Danny, Hahau) are ambassadors. I believe there are around 6 or 7 this semester but I could be mistaken. Today, during class my teacher said she wanted to see me and this girl in her office after class. She then told us that we were being appointed the position of ambassadors for next semester. She told us that it was a unanimous decision amongst the art faculty that we were the best of the best and our level of abilities, talent, skill, professionalism, and our eye for design was the best in what will be our graduating class.

It is such a good feeling to have reassurance.

This is a web page layout I made for Web 1 for Bajan Dream Project. The color is way off because Blogger is really bad with uploading photos. The color on the logo should be the color of the logo I posted in an earlier post.

I Sit Down When I Pee

Here's the deal: I pee sitting down. I am forced to. I live in an attic and the ceiling prevents me from standing up where the toilet is located so I just pee sitting down. It isn't that bad and I don't feel less manly for doing it. It doesn't hurt my pride to not stand up. I definitely don't think God has any problem with me sitting down to pee. This preacher has other thoughts on the matter.
