open mic-ing

if i can get up enough courage i am going to do open mic tomorrow at a bar in st. augustine called rendezvous. a lot of people have been coming to it and i think it would be really fun. last week there were probably 30 people there. i am really excited/nervous and hoping that my cold will go away. maybe i will have someone take some pictures just so you know i am not lying. so far i have 4 songs that i may or may not sing starting with: family tree by ben kweller, james by me, this house is burning by me, and maybe curse of a drunk. we'll see.

this is a funny video that is spreading around the internets. it is probably my favorite video on youtube. this kid just got a tooth pulled and i guess they had to knock him out to do it. and you know what anesthesia does...

scarfing

i bought a scarf today. it is too short to be a normal scarf so i have decided to make it a work scarf. not meaning that it is a scarf that i work in but a scarf that i work on. i am going to sew/knit/whatever on it to make it longer and cooler. and check it! ETSY on da blog.

Recent Journal Arting

Here are a couple of the art works I have done in my journal for drawing 3.  It is probably my favorite class.  Either that or Graphic design 2.  In both I get to do things I like.   Anyway here are some of the things I have done for drawing 3.  For some reason it makes them really huge so you have to click them to view the whole thing.

German learnings.

I don't know if you know this, but I am learning German.  I am doing this on my own time, I am not taking a class.  I don't know if you have ever tried Rosetta Stone, but you gotta believe me, this shite is amazing.  It is so addictive that I think that I have spent about 24 hours in the last 3 days doing it.  I am learning pretty quick.  I am almost done with Unit 1 of Level 1 which is language basics.  It is gonna take a while to get the whole thing done but I can't wait to know German when I go to AUSTRIA!!!
I don't know if you knew I was going to Austria, you probably did because I only think like 3 people actually read this and plus I never write anything so probably no people read this so why am I doing this...?

I guess to waste time.

Well, here's to wasting time.
